I'm so glad you stopped by today. I hope to bring something unique to the table, so read on and get to know me. I can't wait to meet you and help you bring your book to life.
Jessica Fortenberry
Jessica spent her formative years in Japan as a missionary kid, reading and writing short stories in all her spare time. In fact, one of her first memories is learning at school! She and her sister shared a roomful of books where they lost themselves in series like The Boxcar Children and Mandie, reading the same books over and over, yet always getting excited for Christmas when they knew a book was under the tree. As they grew older, they voraciously read every Janette Oak and Karen Kingsbury book they could find and began collecting books from the Love Inspired line.

The first books of children's adventure and heroism never left Jessica's heart, though, and as much as she had fallen in love with love, her passion for writing landed her in the children's market. Her novels and short stories bring to life the adventures of children and animals who suffer great loss yet find comfort in the peace of the Lord. (The books are available on Amazon. Learn more about the stories behind each book at Pebbles of Joy.)
As an editor, Jessica knows the hard work authors put into their stories, and she specializes in helping each and every one discover and bring out his or her voice. The passion she brought to her own writing is evidenced in the feedback she shares with other authors--the main goal is to make their writing the absolute best it can be, reaching just the right audience and telling just the right story the author is trying to tell. If you just want to hear how amazing your writing is, she'll be more than happy to be your friend. If you want to know where and how you can improve--you've found the girl for the job!
